Perhaps this year, you've faced many heartaches. You may sometimes feel lost and struggle to understand why certain things happened—why people broke your heart, why someone left, why others turned their backs, and why your plans fell through. Maybe you've spent many days in your room praying, asking God to give you more patience, hope, faith, and love. I admire your courage to stay kind in this broken world. I admire your strength to keep standing, even though you feel like you're breaking. Your heart is truly one of a kind, and I wish there were more people like you.
Remember, this is just a season, a chapter in your story; better days are coming. You can try again—allow yourself to fail, to make mistakes, and to learn from them. Perhaps those painful days are preparing you for a new path ahead. God wants you to develop patience, to grow in love, and to put your faith and trust fully in Him. The wilderness is a training ground, equipping you for the next season. He is shaping your character for His blessings, looking deeply at your intentions and the motives behind your actions. He is purifying your heart so He can use you with humility, perseverance, passion, and kindness. Your tears have already watered the seeds of goodness you've planted, and you will reap their fruits in His time.
Perhaps it's also time to let go of people and things that no longer serve a purpose in your life. I know it's hard to let go and move forward into the unknown, uncertain if anything better lies ahead. But surely, God has better plans for you. He who promised is faithful; He continually offers Himself so you can find satisfaction in Him. You can have as much of Jesus as you desire; He will never leave you.
Better days are coming. You’ll make it. You will be healed. Your prayers will be answered. You may often feel that you’re not enough, and that’s okay, because God is more than enough. Let Him fill your emptiness so you can experience His fullness. Set your eyes upon Him, and you'll notice countless daily miracles. Look around and see His favor and provision for you.
Better days are coming. There are blessings beyond the uncertainties. Sometimes, you don’t need to understand; you just need to keep the faith and move forward. The more you believe, the more you'll realize that life is a matter of faith. Keep planting seeds of goodness; keep persevering, hoping, loving, forgiving, seeking, believing, praying, and dreaming. One day, without even realizing it, you’ll find yourself in the place you’ve hoped to be. Your obedience will bring a reward in His perfect timing.
God has something special in store for you, with your name written on it, and no one else can claim it. There's more to discover in Him and in life. Trust Him and keep the faith—better days are coming.
Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.
Proverbs 23:18
Know that wisdom is such to your soul; if you find it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.
Proverbs 24:14
It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kinds is to search things out. As the heavens for height, and the earth for depth so the heart of kings is unsearchable.
Proverbs 25:2-3
