This Christmas, may you reflect on the truth that Jesus, the King of Kings, came to offer a life filled with meaning and purpose, even amid suffering. As He rested in the manger, God’s promise was fulfilled: Emmanuel—God with us.
We are merely passing through—sojourners and pilgrims in this temporary world.
Now, as I sit here with his memory, I realize how much I miss that. The love that wasn’t flawless but was real. The person who wasn’t perfect but was present. And perhaps that’s what we hold on to—the moments they gave us, the pieces of them that stay with us long after they’re gone.
