just show up

For me, showing up means persevering and surrendering.

For me, showing up means persevering and surrendering.

I remember what our Pastor always said when he was still alive. He said, "Huwag mong naisin ang palakpak ng tao dahil iyan ang sasampal sa iyo, naisin mo ang palakpak ng Diyos iyan ang magtataas sa iyo."

I am closing now this chapter with a grateful heart knowing He's with me all along.

You're just in a season, it's just a chapter of your story; better days are coming.

If you let your fears remain inside your heart; you will miss greater things.

We should never be afraid to share our time, talents, skills, and whatever we have right now because God can use all of those for His glory if we let Him.

It's okay not to fill the gaps. It's okay not to be enough. It's okay to have blank spaces in our to-do lists and journals. It's okay not to be okay at times. It's okay to wait and to do nothing. It's okay to rest and to pause.

No matter how deep the emptiness you feel, you can always have as much of Jesus as you want. Come as you are, no more hiding, no more pretending, and no more trying. He sees you, He knows you, and He cares for you, just come as you are because in Him nothing is impossible.

I hope whenever you are discouraged in life- find grace in the everyday.

The gift of presence, the value of showing up not only in times of celebration and suffering but also even in ordinary moments, when we just need someone to dance with us, to sing along with us, to dine with us, to converse with us, to sit and to listen with us and to connect with us.
