Heartbeat of Redemption

The thud of my heartbeat of fears
Echoed in the beat of loud cries.
It was a quiet place,
A dark place that I'd never been,
but I long to see.

There was darkness when the sixth hour came.
In the ninth hour, the Man cried out loud.
I couldn't understand what He meant,
But His injured face, wounded body,
Stripped clothes, and marred visage broke me apart.
He was accused, mocked, hated,
Afflicted, oppressed, betrayed, murdered, and crucified—
A sinless Man who offered His life
For sinful creatures like me.

The curtain was torn,
The earth shook,
The rocks split,
The tombs opened.

My heart stopped raging inside,
Tranquility and peace resided.
By His wounds, I am healed.
I found my life  in You, Lord Jesus.
Your perfect love drives out my fears.


Quietness filled the place,
Mumbled cries of the women at the tomb.
There was a great earthquake,
A sudden bright light appeared—
The tomb was empty,
"He has risen," uttered the angelic voice...

It's a great story, for all times.

He was crucified, died, buried, and resurrected
So my heartbeat would continue to rhyme
The echoes of His grace already beat my sins—
his love stands still until eternity.

My life is in You Lord Jesus.

The Suffering and Glory of the Servant

¹³ See, my servant will act wisely^[b];
    he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.
¹⁴ Just as there were many who were appalled at him^[c]—
    his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being
    and his form marred beyond human likeness—
¹⁵ so he will sprinkle many nations,^[d]
    and kings will shut their mouths because of him.
For what they were not told, they will see,
    and what they have not heard, they will understand.

The Death of Jesus

Jesus Has Risen

⁴ But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. ⁵ As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

⁶ “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.

Righteousness Through Faith

²¹ But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. ²² This righteousness is given through faith in^[h] Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, ²³ for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ²⁴ and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. ²⁵ God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,^[i] through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— ²⁶ he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
