Some things that matter takes time. All you need to do is want to understand what drives and inspires you. Simon Sinek
As you grow old you will learn the value of patience and I think I am just learning it now. Not because you want it you will get it, not because you're tired already you'll quit, and not because you're slow you'll stop already. Sometimes we make our dream killers because of our toxicity, pride, and unbelief.
The things that scare you the most will help you the most, the things that break you will make you stronger. The hard things will change you the most. And when you feel stuck and lost you will find what you truly want. And when you stop trying to blend in with the noise, you finally hear what life’s been whispering to you all along. But none of this happens overnight. It takes time. It takes patience. And it’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out just yet—keep your eyes on the horizon, keep moving, and trust that you’ll find your way to the finish line, bruises and all. The detours, the bumps, the crashes—they’re all shaping you, molding you into someone stronger than you were before. Every twist in the road is for your good, even when it doesn’t feel like it.
In a world obsessed with shortcuts, patience often goes unnoticed. But there’s a time when you’ll find yourself in life’s waiting room. It’s not a pleasant place. It’s filled with unmet expectations, heartaches, and the unsettling weight of failure. In that room, you’ll meet your deepest fears, doubts, and maybe even lose sight of who you are. But if you hold on—if you cling to your faith and summon every ounce of courage—you’ll make it out.
Patience is a gift we need every day, not only for ourselves but for others too. We all have our battles, and we could all use a little more grace in the process.
